Campfire Stories of the Carolinas

Written and Directed by Elizabeth Z. Pardue

Watch Full Performance

Our first original production, "Moonlight Frights" debuted Halloween weekend 2021 at the Fuquay-Varina Arts Center. Written by Elizabeth Z Pardue, this spooky comedy presents North Carolina history through stories of its most beloved legends. An ensemble cast takes audiences from the Appalachians to the Outer Banks to meet monsters, ghosts, witches, and Blackbeard himself.

This family-friendly one-act performance is as educational as it is hilarious and was written with local primary-grade curricula in mind*. Currently, the Sisterhood working on publishing this script for public licensing. If your local theatre or school is interested in licensing this play for private production, let us know! Serious inquiries only.
